Leslie David finds an abandoned house in Forest, But when she opened the door, she was stupefied —  Leslie David is a young photographer from Canada. She loves to look for abandoned places in her country and make unusual photos. Once the girl found such a terrible abandoned house and what she saw there, this photo session changed her life dramatically. 

One day Leslie went for another portion of the pictures. She found an abandoned house in which no one had lived for a long time. In any case, she thought so...

When the girl went inside, she was surprised to see, that the house is not abandoned, She found an old man in the living room. An old man named Lawrence and lived there for a long time. ALONE !!!!!

The old man was lost his right eye and his left one is also cataract infecting. In spite of its unimaginative appearance, the soul of Lawrence was plowed. They chatted for hours and the girl promised to visit him again.

After a few days later Leslie often visited her new friend, bring food and drinks, various goodies. The man was very lonely, he refused everything that life offered him. Lawrence told Leslie his life story — both the highs and the lows. The meeting with Lawrence completely turned her life around.

After all this, she continued to bring food and snacks regularly. Leslie writes on her Instagram page. "I hope to have most of the trash cleared out and a few repairs done by the end of the summer. Give him a bit of his home back."

Leslie decided to renovate his home and it could help him to bring his joy for life back. And this work was done with the help of several friends and her relatives.

Leslie decided that she needed to help him. She understood that he did not have much life to live in this world, so she wanted to brighten his loneliness and at least somehow ease his life, to be filled with love and joy.


Leslie David went inside, she was surprised to see, that the house is not abandoned, She found an old man in the living room. An old man named Lawrence and he lived there for a long time.

The photographer regularly began to help the old man with food. He came to life in full view. Lawrence said that he suffered a stroke and did not go to the hospital. But this fateful meeting restored his desire to live.

The man was old, and for many years he did not pay attention to his health. He lived out in his last years, and Leslie decided to fill them with joyful moments.

Leslie writes that she hopes that more can be inspired by their unexpected friendship.  

" Lawrence wished that I must come to his funeral. I promised him that I would be there. The old man confessed that my appearance in his life was the best of what had happened to him. And I understand it perfectly because I have the same feelings. I'm happy that he appeared in my life, and that I can help him disinterestedly . "- writes the photographer on the web.

She also wrote on the website along with pictures of Lawrence. "These old souls are still full of life and I feel blessed to have met this one."

A few months later, Lawrence became worse. Leslie suggested that he settle in a nursing home, where he will always be supervised by medical personnel.  And there Leslie did not stop to visit him. She wore his favorite food and introduced her dog.  The girl hopes that her story will remain in the hearts of people and inspire such actions.

Leslie and Lawrence continue to meet until now.
And to whom have you helped unselfishly in your life?

    This is so Amazing and heart touching. Appreciate her efforts. Only a few go that far to help un-known people and do their best to make difference in their lives. God bless her in her continued efforts to help others.

    I came across this site today. It is fantastic. I worked with older, sometime lost souls in nursing homes for over 18 years and feel that I restored life interests in many, as they are a fascinating people who are often discarded. What a shame. Share your time and life with someone; no person should be randomly discarded and ignored; they are all precious souls. What a wonderful world this would be if we forgot the "me" attitude and reached out to others, especially the discarded elderly. Share your love and time with others more needy. Thank you for this lovely photo presentation. There are many old abandoned persons in this world, not just abandoned houses.
