Ifrane Morocco

Ifran was established by the French at the end 20s to seek European similarities. The architecture and urban design of the city have a clear European touch. There are chalets with gabled roofs and rectangular floor plans. This makes it an alpine town and has been given the nickname of Moroccan Switzerland. It is one of the most beautiful spots in Morocco. Perfect for active holidays or stunning scenery. This hill station was popular to escape the heat of Fez and Meknes. Most Moroccans moved to Ifrane after independence. Ifrane, Morocco is now a popular tourist destination in the Marrakech Desert throughout the year.
