Fiordo di Furore

Fiordo di Furore is an Italian town of 718 inhabitants in the province of Salerno in Campania of southwestern Italy. Since 1997, as part of the Amalfi Coast, and World Heritage of ' UNESCO. It is also part of the Club of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Despite the name by which it is commonly known, it is actually a ria, that is, a narrow body of water located at the mouth of an overhanging valley, created by the incessant work of the Schiato stream that runs from Agerola along the mountain to dive into the sea. The place welcomes a tiny seaside village that was inhabited, among others.

Furore beach — Fiordo di Furore offers beautiful views and wonderful beaches, but one of the most unique features of this beach is its narrow facade. This narrow gap was once a secret hideout for gangsters and bandits. It also serves as a narrow bay with a natural port. The only sea can reach it. The natural rock arch surrounding it perfectly compliments the beauty of the place. This unique area was home to many people who built their homes on the barren rock. The fishermen's houses, also known as "MANAZERI", which means "Living In Solitude", are still standing on the rocks. It is a unique ecosystem.

Many rear animals can be found in the fjord, including Hawk pilgrims and some other species. You can also find rare species of ferns here. This natural oasis is ideal for those who love nature and want to be alone.

Fiordo jumped out of a small tunnel and crossed the road from Amalfi-Sorrento. The picturesque furore bridge is located 30 meters above sea level. The road descends a staircase to the area where ceramic tiles sealed poetry by an unknown poet Giuseppe Antonello. Leme or Leone dedicated the fjord Italy -- In the rocks surrounding the Furore fjord is a tiny fishing village. Furore Amalfi Coast Historically, paper manufacturing was a major activity. Amalfi furore even has a museum-paper factory. Fiordo hothouse papers are also found in one of these houses. Another is involved in stone processing.
