Ho Thuy Tien Waterpark
Ho Thuy Tien is one of the abandoned water parks with the most interesting story and still attracting visitors despite being closed for a long time.
The Ancient Capital Tourism Company invested Thu Tien Lake's amusement park, and it was not completed with the capital of over Three million USD in 2004. The investor has built an aquarium tourist area, a diverse and rich ecosystem ranging from unique colorful fish species to rare reptiles, a water music stage with 2,500 seats. The system of 20 high-class bedrooms is located on the hillsides.
According to the plan, there will be many different activities at Hồ Thuỷ Tiên Water Park. These were to be mentioned as water sports, amusement parks, palaces and aquariums, wildlife exhibitions. In addition, a fairy-tale garden, a cultural village, and food courts were to be built. It was decided to build an amusement park with all possible activities and attractions, but unfortunately, it did not work out as planned.
This water park has been abandoned for more than ten years. Currently, it is a vast ruin of nearly 50 hectares. The entrance is covered with moss in many attractive game areas, making the park more gloomy and mysterious. Locals use areas for grazing livestock. Many large villas were originally build to serve guess of some of the works were not even completed.

Ghostly destination for adventures
From 2016 to 2018, foreign backpackers came to this abandoned Thuy Tien lake park to explore and experience the desolate, creepy scene like in horror movies. But by the beginning of 2019 and back, due to the simultaneous sharing of travel fan pages, this place suddenly became "hot" again, attracting the curiosity of Hue youth and tourists across the country. Because it is no longer in use, the park evokes a weird feeling like stepping out of a horror movie. The entrances to the tourist area, the overgrown grass, the amusement parks are now no longer a shadow of service staff, and many buildings are rusted and deformed.
The once elaborately built aquarium has now become dilapidated, covered with moss and dust, the ceiling is broken into large pieces, exposing the steel and electrical wires. The walls are patchy, filled with brushstrokes, creating a desolate landscape. The most attractive is probably the dragon's head; viewed from here, Ho Thuy Tien has a romantic and mysterious beauty.

The magic of this place is also clearly "distinct" through the spiral stairs, the old long slide between the wild trees, the slides covered with moss. In particular, in the water music performance area, the stage was covered with moss, the grandstand with a capacity of 2,500 seats is now just rows of seats covered with weeds. Four bridges located at the four guides to the dragon model at Thuy Tien Lake have appeared many cracks, peeling cement, making the park more creepy.
