Hacienda Escudero Villa is located at San Pablo in Philippines. The world's first waterfall restaurant is located near the foot of the waterfall. The hacienda style resort became popular not only among the locals but also tourists from around the world. Villa Escudero Resort attracts travelers the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of almost untouched nature. The quite popular and unique restaurant which is located at the picturesque waterfall. Bamboo tables are submerged amongst the natural water with depth of about 15-20 cm and only a few meters from local waterfall Labasin. To visit this restaurant, tourists will have to roll up the pants to their knees.  Guests can enjoy delicious local cuisine, while enjoying a beauty of falls. Philippine cuisine is very kind and is a mixture of Malay, Spanish and Chinese culinary traditions. After lunch or dinner any visitor of restaurant can even swim in the crystal clear water. Labasin is not a natural waterfall, in fact it is spillway of dam, the first working hydroelectric plant of Philippines, Don Arsenio Eskyudro built in 1929. Industrialist pioneer built the dam to supply the water for coconut plantations. These plantations were opened for public as tourist attraction in 1981. Tourists are driven thought the countryside on a Carabao cart, surrounded by park like setting while being serenaded by locals. Visitors can go for rafting in native bamboo raft. Villa Escudero is an open-air museum, where you can learn more about the culture and history of the Philippines, with a rich collection of works of art, oriental ceramics, costumes, furniture, weapons, aircraft. Among other attractions include live cultural dance show, sports area, and even you can visit many other restaurants but not like this wet places.
