The boy admits that in the future he sees himself as an artist whose works will be exhibited in museums and galleries. He even chose for himself a short and capacious name - Waspa - with which he signed his works. He wants to repeat the success of Arinze Stanley Egbengwu - a young Nigerian artist who also paints in hyper-realism with pencil. “And also Michelangelo,” says Kareem, diligently painting a human figure in various poses with a pencil. Unlike the artist Arinze, Kareem is not limited to drawings in pencil, but also creates his paintings using paints. “I draw friends, I draw comics, cartoon characters, I draw illustrations for books and newspapers.”
