Jodhpur | A Blue city in India

Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan, India. Until the mid-20th century, it served as the capital of the Rajas of  Marwar.

Jodhpur was founded in the 1459 by Rao Jodha, it is the second largest city in the state of Rajhastan.

Jodhpur, also known as Sun city 

From the very beginning of the existence of the city, its inhabitants followed the tradition of painting the houses of the Brahmins - representatives of the highest caste in India - in blue. This tradition is followed today. Therefore, wherever you look, Jodhpur seems to be covered with light blue muslin.

The Blue City of Jodhpur 

The main architectural attraction of Jodhpur is considered the medieval fortress of Mehrangarh. It is located on the outskirts of the city, but its powerful high walls are visible, it seems from everywhere.
