Mud Volcano Tizdar, Russia

Volcano Tizdar also known as Blue Beam located near the village "For the Motherland" Temryuksky district, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. This town is famous for the entire Krasnodar region and beyond for its unique mud volcano Tizdar 400 meters from the Sea of Azov, in the crater of which can be taken as therapeutic mud baths.

Volcanic Mud


The last eruption of Volcano Tizdar almost a hundred years ago, a volcanic mountain lost its cone. Now its shape turn into a mud lake with a diameter of 100 × 150 meters. The crater of this volcano 25 meters deep with a high content of bromine, iodine and hydrogen sulfide. The density of the mud in the crater is 1550 kg / m3, so it pushes the man out. It is believed that the depth of the lake reaches 25 m, but this can be judged only in theory. Due to the high density of the mud at the bottom of the sink basin it is impossible measure, people can floats freely on the surface, without any effort. This mud volcano is used in mud therapy located on a private complex "islands of health"
