Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc presented a photo book dedicated to women's beauty. The girl traveled the world for four years and took portraits of local women, emphasizing the diversity of cultures. During this time, she made more than 500 photos in 50 countries of the world, which were included in the book The Atlas of Beauty.
Mihaela Noroc's portraits of women around the world are being published in a new 352-page book. In her pictures women of different ages and physiques are depicted, proving that beauty is much more than we used to see on the pages of glossy magazines. "Beauty lies in our dissimilarity. Being beautiful means being yourself, being natural and authentic, "says Noroc.

32-year-old Mihaela Noroc from Bucharest, Romania. She traveled around the world to search for female faces to be immortalized in their daily lives. According to the photographer, during the trip, she noticed that women exerted a strong pressure on how to behave and how to look. In some cultures a woman is obliged to look attractive, while others, on the contrary, are modest. "Every woman should have freedom in expressing her beauty, in spite of fashion, marketing and social norms," says Noroc.
Despite the fact that the photographer issues a book, she intends to continue traveling and show female beauty from other corners of the world. In addition, the photographer hopes that her project will help many women gain confidence in themselves and take a fresh look at what it all means to be beautiful. [h/t : MyModernmet]
