KATHMANDU, NEPAL

32-year-old Mihaela Noroc from Bucharest, Romania. She traveled around the world to search for female faces to be immortalized in their daily lives. According to the photographer, during the trip, she noticed that women exerted a strong pressure on how to behave and how to look. In some cultures a woman is obliged to look attractive, while others, on the contrary, are modest. "Every woman should have freedom in expressing her beauty, in spite of fashion, marketing and social norms," says Noroc.

Despite the fact that the photographer issues a book, she intends to continue traveling and show female beauty from other corners of the world. In addition, the photographer hopes that her project will help many women gain confidence in themselves and take a fresh look at what it all means to be beautiful.
